Camarines Norte LGU breaks ground for Jose Panganiban Port Project

The Provincial Government of Camarines Norte, in collaboration with the Philippine Ports Authority successfully held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Jose Panganiban Port project on June 19, 2024, at Barangay Osmeña, Jose Panganiban, Camarines Norte.

This significant event marks the beginning of an ambitious initiative “to transform the seaport into a Free Port and integrate it into an Economic Zone. The project aims to establish the port as a key transportation, logistics, and trade hub, enhancing the local economy.”

All stakeholders highlighted the project’s potential to create jobs and boost trade opportunities. The strong community support and commitment from the Provincial Government and its partners set a positive foundation for the project’s future.
