He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines, and completed a graduate program in financial engineering and alternative strategies for infrastructure development from the American University in Washington, D.C. He was Program Director for BOT Projects in the Department of Transportation and Communications from 1989 to 1995. He had oversight in telecommunications, civil aviation, traffic, ports, maritime, coast guard, light rail and urban mass transport systems until 1995, He was Independent Director, from June 17, 2009, to June 15, 2015, of the Philippine Electricity Market Corporation that manages the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market www.wesm.ph. He is Founder and first-elected President, and is incumbent Chairman of Asia Pacific Basin for Energy Strategies www.asiapacificbasin.org, an Energy and Economic Think-Tank, and an Organization in Special Consultative Status in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2014 www.un.org/en/ecosoc. He was Founder-Trustee, and first elected President of Energy Service Company Association of the Philippines (ESCOPHIL).

His areas of practice are Aviation, Civil, Property, Family Laws, Data Privacy, Dispute Resolution, Litigation, Arbitration, Renewable Energy, Mining, and Environment. He graduated in 1991 from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted in 1992 in the Philippines Bar. He was Treasurer of Asia Pacific Basin for Energy Strategies.

He is a veteran lawyer in Corporate, Property and Energy. He achieved his Economics and Law degrees from the University of the Philippines. He was directly involved in major projects of two Philippines conglomerates and in two power plant development companies before joining Energies PH.
Steven V. Jaromay

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, and a Bachelor of Laws, from the University of the Philippines. He was an Outstanding Debater and is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. He has extensive litigation practice, advocated, and handled numerous cases of national significance that reached the Supreme Court, and is competent in Corporate, Tax, IT, Immigration, Intellectual Property, Environment, Natural Resources, Mining, and Energy laws.
Hilarion G. San Diego

Two years before Mr. San Diego earned his baccalaureate in Economics in 1980, he received a scholarship grant from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the Institute of International Partnership during the first half of 1978, then became co-champion of the first Battle of Econwits held at the UP School of Economics (Diliman) in December of the same year. During his professional life as a Statistician, he received two scholarship grants from his employer, the Central Bank of the Philippines (now known as the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) the first was for the MBM program of the Asian Institute of Management in 1982 and the other was for a certificate course in “Multivariate Techniques with Applications in Market Research” of the UP Statistical Center in 1987. He received a Merit Awardee III from the Central Bank in 1988, for a paper he presented to the IMF Resident Representative, the Honorable Chung Suk Cha, during the Research Sector Planning Conference in May 1987. To contribute higher learning, he taught Quantitative Methods in Finance from 1997—2003 at the College of Business and Economics of De La Salle University-Taft Campus.

He is an experienced litigation and corporate lawyer for companies dealing with real property development, telecommunications, natural resources, and energy exploration and production. He served as Special Legal Counsel in the Philippines’ first satellite company in charge of management of extensive landholdings housing the Philippines’ first international satellite earth station. He was directly involved in the installation of military satellite communications with renewable energy in key areas of national interest. His role takes him in charge of Compliance, Land Acquisition, Data Privacy, Due Diligence, Intellectual Property Rights, Labor and Human Resources, Corporate Affairs and General Administration.

Paco Erlano is a licensed Mechanical Engineer who graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Philippines. His tasks are eight-fold: 1. Develop and implement sustainability strategies; 2. Environmental compliance; 3. Sustainability reporting and performance measurement; 4. Stakeholder engagement ; 5.Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency; 6. Human resource awareness and training; 7. Industry collaboration and advocacy; and 8. Research and analyze potential business opportunities that correspond with the Company’s objectives of securing a clean and sustainable energy future. His major thrusts are the environmental, economic and social aspects of the Company’s projects. Foremost, solutions and strategies must meet climate change and biodiversity, the essential components of sustainability.
